#MICROBIGYEAR 2014

How many species of animals is it possible to find in a suburban garden in western Norway during one single year? In 2014 I tried to find out. The aim was to record as many species as possible from the animal kingdom during the year. Read more

Reporting species

Sharing information about the species I find is important. All firsts are recorded in the miljolare.no database, all leps into lepidoptera.no, and all birds except the firsts are registered into artsobservasjoner.no/fugler. Everything will be made accessible for anybody through the Species Map Service provided by the Norwegian Biodiversity Centre and GBIF Norway.
